SCAM requests for Quotations </em></strong>- A member firm has requested CESA to warn its members to be very cautious about responding to fake requests for quotations from various Govt Departments such as Dept of Health, Dti, etc. The fraudsters have obtained accurate copies of Govt letterheads etc and the correspondence seems genuine however on closer examination you can spot small errors etc. The real Govt Departments are not sympathetic as they say they have put warning notices on their websites.
