Whistle-blowing re cidb regulations - Following a meeting with cidb on 5 November 2015, member firms are requested to report any contraventions of the cidb regulations to <a href="mailto:wallym@cesa.co.za" target="_blank">wallym@cesa.co.za</a> so CESA can report these to cidb for follow-up without revealing members’ identities eg provincial departments ignoring cidb grading for contractors.

 Central Supplier Database (CSD) - National Treasury invite companies to register on Central Supplier Database for the South African government. The Central Supplier Database maintains a database of organisations, institutions and individuals who can provide goods and services to government. The CSD will serve as the single source of key supplier information for organs of state from 01 April 2016 providing consolidated, accurate, up-to-date, complete and verified supplier information to procuring organs of state.  Construction Charter Alignment - At the meeting between Dti &amp; the Established Sector at the CSCC on 12 Oct 2015, it transpired that the existing Charter may be repealed from 1 Nov 2015 and replaced with the revised Generic Codes of Good Practice (RCOGP). Work will continue on the Alignment of the Charter and once the Revised Charter is agreed by all parties it will replace the RCOGP
