Over a period of 3 months this year, starting in May and ending in July, CESA member companies are invited to participate in our annual Job Shadow Initiative which encourages participation from over 580 member firms and culminates in them being acknowledged at our annual CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards taking place mid-August. </p> <p>The goal of the Job Shadow Initiative is to expose and entice school learners into the engineering field, but more specifically to the specialised field of Consulting Engineering as a career of choice. The Job Shadow initiative allows students to experience ‘a Day in the Life of a Consulting Engineer’ helping them to make an informed decision when choosing a career path after high school,” states CESA’s YPF Chairperson Yankho Banda.</p> <p>By giving them an experience like no other, learners get a chance to imagine, live, work and play engineering – opening their minds to a world of possibilities.
