The SIPDM training course (now two days) is accredited with two ECSA CPD points and scheduled as follows:<br /> <strong>28 Feb, 1 March 2017</strong> – Gauteng<br /> <strong>28, 29 March 2017</strong> – Durban<br /> <strong>25, 26 April 2017</strong> – Cape Town<br /> <strong>16, 17 May or 11, 12 July 2017</strong> - Kimberley<br /> <strong>30, 31 May 2107</strong> – East London<br /> <strong>13, 14 June 2017</strong> – Port Elizabeth<br /> <strong>27, 28 June 2017</strong> – Bloemfontein</p> <p>Attendance is not limited to PrEng, PrTech etc as anyone interested in SIPDM may attend. <br /> The fee for the two days including venue, meals, documents, USB, bag etc is R2 800 per person. Details to follow, but members are encouraged to save the dates or contact Patricia Fanti at 011 463 2022 or <a href="mailto:patricia@cesa.co.za">patricia@cesa.co.za</a> to register for the courses.</p> <p><strong>Construction Sector Codes Update</strong><br /> The original planned promulgation of the new sector codes has been delayed from February this year to a likely date in April. This is due to various administrative issue between. The dti and the Charter Council team who are hard at work integrating comments received up to December 2016 when the commentary deadline date was reached. Firms with expired sector scorecards will understandably migrate to using the Generic Codes until further notice.</p> <p><strong>CESA Legal Forum - </strong>Due to the significant non-attendance at meetings by members it has become necessary to reformat the nature of the Forum. Henceforth the CESA Legal Forum will be an “email grouping” where members can raise issues/ requests/ discussions through the medium of email. Meetings can/ will be called to deal with matters of great interest/ importance when necessary.
