With the theme of 'A Day in the Life of a Consulting Engineer' member firms are encouraged to provide learners with an experience like no other. The goal of the CESA YPF Job Shadowing Initiative is to expose and entice school Learners to embrace the field of Engineering, but more so to pursuing a career in Consulting Engineering. By exposing these learners to the exciting field of engineering, they get a chance to imagine, live, work and play engineering - opening their minds to a world of possibilities and opportunities. Furthermore, this year participating firms may either submit a single entry - pre-entry form and poster - by firm or multiple entries by regional offices. We hope that this change to the entry criteria will encourage competition between regional offices of larger firms and encourage participation by smaller firms. </p> <p> <em><strong>Upcoming Events 2018</strong></em></p> <table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" class="ms-classic4-main"> <!-- fpstyle: 7,011111100 --> <tr> <td class="ms-classic4-tl" style="width: 312px">EVENT</td> <td class="ms-classic4-top" style="width: 115px">DATE</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 312px">Young Professionals Sustainability Imbizo <br /> <em>Gauteng </em></td> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 115px">14-15 August</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 312px">CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards <br /> <em>Gauteng </em></td> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 115px">15 August</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 312px">CESA Relay <br /> <em>Riversands Farm, Fourways</em></td> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 115px">15 September</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 312px">Presidential Golf Challenge <br /> <em>Johannesburg Country Club </em></td> <td class="ms-classic4-even" style="width: 115px">19 October</td> </tr> </table> <p><strong><em>To view the full Events Calendar please visit </em></strong> <a href="http://www.cesa.co.za/node/13">http://www.cesa.co.za/node/13</a> </p> <p class="clear:both"><img src="images/Line.jpg" alt="" width="760" height="4" /></p> <h1><strong><img src="images/CESA_Icon.jpg" alt="" width="64" class="media-object" align="absmiddle" hspace="5" style="clear:both" />Contractual Affairs, Procurement & Membership</strong></h1> <p><strong> <img align="left" height="213" hspace="10" src="images/Wallys_Section.jpg" width="288" />IPDM Training Seminars</strong> - The first of the planned Training Seminars took place on 9 and10 July 2018 at the CESA School of Consulting Engineering.
