<td><p>Following on from his address to the media, President of CESA Sugen Pillay set off on a series of visits to all of CESA’s 11 Branches to address both member firms and their clients. These visits are aimed at addressing both National as well as Regional issues. </p>
<p>The first in these series of visits was a visit to the Western Cape. Hosted by CESA Western Cape Branch Chairperson Sahil Patel at the Granger Bay Hotel School, the following items were covered:</p>
<p>• What can be achieved despite the current economic downturn<br />
• Infrastructure development and its impact on business confidence<br />
• The impact of the newly created investment and Infrastructure Office<br />
• The importance of value-for-money when developing infrastructure<br />
• The need for a consistent Project Pipeline from Government<br />
• The importance of fair and transparent Procurement Policies</p>
<p>Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent countrywide lockdown all visits by the President to the other Provinces have been put on hold until further notice.</p>
