<p>At
the start of the programme each student will be assigned a Facilitator.</p>
<p><span>The
Facilitator assigned is a person with a high level of experience and
qualification in the Consulting Engineering Industry.</span></p>
<p><b>The Facilitator role is to:</b></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Provide
the student with support and guidance throughout the learning programme;</span></li>
<li><span>Provide
assistance and guidance with assignments and activities that are to be
completed outside of the Contact Sessions in the workplace and as self
learning;</span></li>
<li><span>Build
a relationship with the student in all matters concerning the agreement between
the student, the workplace and CESA;</span></li>
<li><span>Communicate
with the student on the status of Assignment submission;</span></li>
<li><span>Ensure
that Assignments are evaluated and appropriate feedback is provided to the student
via the CESAnet communication channels as outlined.</span></li>
<li><span>Support
learner’s requests and counselling adequately</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span>Recommend
the student on ways to put remedy to knowledge or behavioural weaknesses</span></p>

normal'><b><span lang=EN-GB style='font-size:26.0pt;color:#8064A2'><a name="library" id="library"></a>READING AND
LEARNING RESOURCE
LIBRARY</span></b></p>
<p><span>Assignments
and Activities to be completed throughout the Learning Programme are supported
by relevant reading and learning resource materials that have been compiled
into a Library on the CESAnet.� Access to these resources is via a student
password that is allocated to each person at the start of the programme.</span></p>
<p><span>The
Library is arranged in a “bookcase” on the CESAnet for each Module of the
Learning Programme.� Where reading and learning resources are common to more
than one Module, these are available in the “General Bookcase” on the CESAnet.</span></p>
<p><span>How
to access to the Library is explained under point 3 of this Section of the Student
Guide.</span></p>
<p><span>Where
a student sources other learning resources that may be useful to all
participants in the programme, they may have these uploaded on the CESAnet by
contacting the Module Convenor.</span></p>
<p><b><span
lang=EN-GB style='font-size:26.0pt;line-height:115%;color:#8064A2'><a name="cesanet" id="cesanet"></a>THE CESAnet</span></b></p>
<p><span
>The CESAnet is an
interactive Student Interface that manages the BCE Learning Programme for the Student
and the Facilitator. Each Student and Facilitator has a discreet password to
access the interface that is allocated upon enrolment for the duration of the
programme.</span></p>
<p><b><span>The CESAnet
will enable a Student to:</span></b></p>

<li><span>Access
this Student Guide;</span></li>
<li><span>Access
their personal details and be able to update them as necessary;</span></li>
<li><span>Access
the applicable Assignments and Activities to be completed after each Contact
Session;</span></li>

<li><span>Upload
completed Assignments for evaluation by their allocated Facilitator;</span></li>

feedback on evaluated assignments and check a log of their completed
